Connect TP-Link Omada to WeefyBox
Setup
- Open WeefyBox Setup and choose TP-Link Omada.
- Copy the Portal URL and walled-garden domains.
- In Omada, open Hotspot Manager > Operator.
- Create a dedicated Hotspot Operator; do not share the main administrator.
- Note the controller's
omadacIdfrom Global View > Settings > Controller Status. - Open Site > Settings > Authentication > Portal.
- Create a portal and choose External Portal Server.
- Select the guest SSID and paste the WeefyBox Portal URL.
- Under Pre-Authentication Access, add every walled-garden domain.
- Save and apply the portal profile.
- Enter the controller URL, operator credentials,
omadacId, and site in WeefyBox. - Select Save credentials, then Test my setup.
- Forget the guest network on a phone and reconnect.
- Complete the splash form and confirm internet access.
- Check Portal debugger for a successful authorization.
Troubleshooting
