Acceptable Use Policy

Use WeefyBox to serve real venue guests who knowingly connect to your WiFi. Do not use it for cold outreach, deceptive collection, unlawful content or attempts to bypass network/security controls.

Guest data and consent

  • Do not upload purchased, scraped or otherwise cold contact lists into WeefyBox.
  • Do not message guests on a channel unless they opted into that channel or another lawful basis clearly applies.
  • Do not hide or misrepresent what a guest is agreeing to on a splash page.

Messaging and campaigns

  • Do not send spam, phishing, misleading offers or content that is unlawful, abusive or discriminatory.
  • Respect unsubscribe, STOP and suppression records immediately.
  • Keep campaign content relevant to the venue relationship that created the guest record.

Platform and network safety

  • Do not probe, overload or attempt to bypass WeefyBox security controls.
  • Do not share API credentials, router credentials or staff accounts between unrelated users.
  • Do not use WeefyBox to operate public internet access in a way that violates local law or your network provider terms.

Enforcement

We may suspend campaigns, messaging, integrations or accounts that breach this policy, especially where guest privacy, deliverability or platform security is at risk.
