Custom domains and DNS

For each hostname, add the exact CNAME shown in Partner Console.

  1. Create the hostname in Partner Console.
  2. Sign in to your DNS provider.
  3. Add a CNAME pointing to the displayed platform target.
  4. Remove conflicting A, AAAA or CNAME records.
  5. Wait for DNS propagation.
  6. The nightly checker verifies the CNAME.
  7. Caddy on-demand TLS requests and renews the certificate on first HTTPS traffic.
  8. The checker verifies HTTPS before marking the domain active.

If verification breaks, restore the expected CNAME. Do not disable certificate validation or proxy the hostname through a service that blocks ACME challenges.
